[Character information] Name: Zachariah
Canon: Supernatural
Canon Point: Point of No Return 5x18 as Dean is about to stab him
Age: Before man existed
Appearance:Zachariah is always well-groomed, something attributed to his status as a Seraph(high-class angel). He is always generally wearing a look of smugness, complete annoyance, or total anger. He has the appearance of a man in his fifties, grey hair, and balding. This is his vessel as his true form, according to him, has six feathered wings and four faces(one of which is a lion and he is damn proud of that). He will not be revealing that form unless he just wants to kill somebody then and there.
Always with the suitsInventory: Meatsuit, angel killing sword, suit on his back(clothing not the vessel)
Abilities:Angels have a set of unique abilities that make them quite powerful. What comes into play with angels like Zachariah is that he is not just any angel: He is a Seraph. This is a high-level angel that has all the abilities one sees in a lower-tiered angel, but at a more advanced degree. Angels above them are Archangels of course.
Biokinesis: This is the manipulation of another being's body as an atomic level. This can be used to force massive internal bleeding or, in Zachariah's case, taking away lungs and giving somebody stage 4 stomach cancer(sorry not sorry, Dean).
Healing: Or maybe it is more appropriate to call this advanced healing. Seraphs can cure a person of any illness and heal any wounds. They can even regrow limbs. For Zachariah, generally he uses the knowledge that he can heal anything to persuade somebody to do what he demands of them.
Resurrection: This kind of goes along with healing in a way...just more advanced. If somebody dies then a Seraph can resurrect them even if they happened to have exploded. This is a handy little ability to have.
Possession: All angels have to take a human vessel and that vessel has to give their consent for them to use their bodies. Zachariah is no exception.
Memory Manipulation: He can take peoples' memories from them and put them back just as easily. It would be conceivable that he could plant false memories in another as well.
Telekinesis: He made a door close by more or less mentally commanding the door to close.
Teleportation: He can move from place to place instantaneously. This is sometimes accompanied by the sound of wings flapping. Not always though.
Reality Warping: He manipulated the room that Dean was kept in while Sam was breaking the final seal. He made the doors disappear. In Heaven, he manipulated when it was night and day when searching for Sam and Dean.
Time Travel: Like most angels, he can go back and forth in time. Likely he will not be doing this, but the ability is there. He can send others forwards or backwards as well.
Dreams/Nightmares: He can enter into another's head when they are sleeping and speak to them there. Even if somebody has sigil markings on their bodies to ward off an angel's ability to locate them, he can find them by dream walking.
Special Standard Angel Things x2(Seraph): Invulnerability to being killed the conventional way, immortality, very high stamina in order to relentlessly chase somebody(ie Dean) until he gets what he wants, strength(he can overpower lower angels and all kinds of demons of course)
The Killing Touch: Basically, Seraphim can kill multiple targets at the same time and it is far easier for them than lower class angels.
Soul Reading/Channeling: They can read a human soul to determine the state of it and even who may or may not have a claim over it. The same ability can be used as a means to utilize the soul's power. Both ways can permanently damage the soul and ultimately the person that soul belongs to.
Technology: They can speak to people through a radio or a television and it goes haywire(lights as well) when they are about to appear. This is a standard angel thing.
And, among other things, a regular person cannot look upon his true form or their eyes will burn out and they could potentially die.
History:http://supernatural.wikia.com/wiki/Zachariahhttp://supernatural.wikia.com/wiki/SeraphsPersonality:"The last person in the history of creation you want as your enemy is me. And I'll tell you why. Lucifer may be strong; but I'm... petty."Oh boy. Where does one begin with an angel like this? No. No. Seraph. Zachariah does not take well to being disrespected. When he speaks of the plan(aka the Apocalypse), he speaks about it like it is the one and only thing meant to happen to bring about paradise. Any addition to that in the form of preventing it from happening is not an option. It is what everything is meant to end with. It is the only thing that life is meant to lead up to and interference is not an option. Anybody that speaks to him about wanting to prevent it from happening is met with incredulousness and will receive a firm dismissal in the form of a snarky or condescending remark.
He considers humans to be on one of the lowest scales ever even compared to demons. He calls his vessel a 'smelly thing' which he generally refers to the entire race as. As friendly as he attempts to come off as, he does not hold back from telling somebody what he really thinks of them. This is usually something seen mostly with Dean and later Adam when they were using the half brother to get to the Winchester that they wanted. When Adam realized what Zachariah was getting at, it really did not matter by that point. The Seraph toyed with him by making him realize how useless he actually is and making him bleed internally for the heck of it. Zachariah is a class act.
"Mmmm... Not so much. Hey, if it's any consolation, you happen to be the illegitimate half-brother of the guy we do care about. That's not bad, is it?"As much as he will gladly tell somebody what he thinks, he will white lie to get the end of the deal that he and his superiors are looking for. As he is reasonably assured that everything will go along as planned, he will smugly outline just all of what he lied about and how it does not matter. He is pretty sure of himself, not even doubting what happened to him later on when he is temporarily removed from the task of getting Dean to say yes to Michael.
He eventually does move on to verbal threats, usually in the form of derogatory comments about humans and how they cannot possibly fathom how important this all is(this being the Apocalypse). He explains things as if it is the most natural thing in the world why it trumps any of the other problems the boys might have. Speaking of the word 'boy', other angels have used comments like this such as 'ape' for humans. The very idea that Dean will continue to say no to him is infuriating not only for what Zachariah believes to be the only path, but this is a dirty human refusing to assist in finishing off Lucifer with all the pomp and circumstance behind it. This is a divine right. Refusing it is unheard of, insulting, and downright unacceptable.
He does not stop at verbal threats. He starts with those. He tries the approach with showing somebody like Dean what his purpose is and why it is important to fill his intended role. When Dean ultimately continues to run away and refuse to say yes to be Michael's vessel, he starts throwing the weight around. Being a Seraph, he can do a lot of pretty awful things physically to the target. It might as well be torture in the form of verbal threats and then unleashing whatever he wants. Literally. He tells Dean and Sam what he intends to do and he does it. He points his finger at Sam like a gun and says bang to break the other's bones as if it is nothing but he a whim of a thought he has. There is no sympathy in what he does. It is about being efficient and getting what he was told to get by Michael himself and ultimately God according to the good book.
"Well, can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs. In this case, truckloads of eggs, but you get the picture."Diseases? Done. He casually tells Dean that they will heal him from Stage 4 stomach cancer if he agrees to say yes. When this offer is refused, Dean begins to cough up blood. Taking away entire parts of a person? Ain't nothing. He takes Sam's lungs away which essentially kills him outright as he gasp for breath then collapses in seconds. He mentions Bobby and how they can heal him or leave him to never walk again. This is all done without emotion...at least not in terms of experiencing a need to hesitate or any sort of regret over what he is doing. There is the ultimate goal of getting what they want and need to destroy Lucifer. Nothing else will work. This being the only option for him means anything goes.
He is either smiling when he is lying or smiling when he is causing the kind of pain he believes to be necessary to get what he wants. When he grows tired of Dean's attitude, he will frown and begin to shout about how there is no time for any of this. Time is a factor that he uses often to try and place urgency on a situation. Putting pressure on Dean is something he employs a great deal in increasingly worse ways until eventually he even displays a jab at the boys' mental states by flirting and implying what he will do with their mother's memory when he tracks their souls down in Heaven.
"All they care about upstairs, ain't it? Results, results, results. They don't know. They're not down on the ground, in the mud, nose to nose with all you pig-filthy humans. Am I right?"Failure is something he does not take well. He places blame on the fact that he cannot get the yes he needs and it is not his fault. Before Michael 'rehires' him to get to Dean using Adam, he even laments to the human there that he never gets a break without the results that his boss wants. It is something that is more important to him than anything else in existence. Though the topic never comes up, the possibility of him dying during the Apocalypse means nothing to him. His entire being is to serve Michael and ultimately what is laid out in the Bible to every degree possible. He is not afraid of damaging somebody else in the process as mentioned previously. The fact that he cannot get Dean to say yes to being Michael's vessel pisses him off.
The only respect he tends to throw anybody is to his superiors, those being the Archangels of course. Lower angels are the ones that tend to give him respect and he thrives on that like nobody's business. They are either his subordinates, and relatively expendable at that given how he is more concerned with Castiel going against him than his killing of the angels Zachariah had accompanying him, or his superiors though Castiel is in that rare enemy angel area. Of course humans, as mentioned, are lower than dirt.

Action Spam/NetworkYou know...when I said you wouldn't regret it and things turned out like they did, I was sorta kinda hoping that would mean I would at least earn brownie points for getting Dean in that room. I mean...he said yes, didn't he?
[That should get him some recognition back. That seemed like a fair enough request. That should get his foot in the door for a few more opportunities. If Michael brought him back from the dead then surely that means something.]You could've picked a better location than Podunk USA though. There's got to be a reason why you put me here. Are you even listening? Sometimes I feel like I'm just talking to myself...
[That last part kind of trails off as he looks up into the sky. It isn't like the answer is just going to fall into his lap, so all he can do is wait for a sign of what to do next. Either that or figure out where he happens to be. What a pain. If it'll keep him in the game though then he would do what he had to do.]Hello? I need a little direction here! As much as I'd like to make this up as I go along, that was never really part of the plan.
ProseSo the technology thing, or lack there of, didn't really bother him. Zachariah spent an awfully long time before humans came along working all day and all night and not caring once about MTV or whatever else they had going on nowadays. Sure it was interesting enough! That kind of thing reacted funny to them and made for great ways to scare the living daylights out of humans and lesser beings. The whole lights flickering and white noise thing was a staple of those stupid little horror flicks that everybody seemed to really get a kick out of. if anybody asked him, they were pretty ludicrous. Don't even get him started on how angels are painted in any film ever! The schtick about them being all saintly and mysterious was just so old and just done! Don't even get him started on the wardrobe! If he could, he would go back in time and strangle the first person that thought that up.
This was really a digression kind of moment though. His whole deal that he was concerned about was what it meant for him to end up here when he was pretty sure that he was supposed to be dead. He practically wanted to roll his eyes at how that sounded in his head. No way could he admit something like that, right? It really was cheating on Dean's part. He lied to him. he lied to him with that stupid face and those stupid LYING words! It wasn't Zachariah's fault that he fell for that. He got him to the room! That was enough for him to earn a little reprieve, right? Maybe there was going to be some fire reigned down on those idiot brothers...Adam included! All he did was talk talk talk...blah blah blah! Nowhere did it say how hard it was going to be just to get some fool to say yes! How could the rewards not be enough?
Okay okay...digressing again. If he was here and some of his brothers were here then at least there was that. So what if those apes were around here? He could deal with that. If they thought that they could fool him again then they were going to be sorely disappointed. The whole Apocalypse deal might not be going on here, but he would throw his weight around until Michael came along and told him the gameplan. Unless he heard of some other way to pass the time, harassment seemed like a viable option here. What else was he expected to do? Maybe chatting it up a bit with the locals would answer that question.
Or maybe somebody could throw him a bone and tell him what he was even doing here to begin with. That would be more than helpful.
"This isn't paradise. Scenic I guess...if we want to call rundown crap scenic. What do they call it? Charming?"
He really won't go into something to compare this to. He could name one of several states that would just end up dissolving into an ape bashing marathon...not that there was anything wrong with that. Now was just really not the time for that. Maybe later. Definitely later.
Anything Else? No :V
